In John Salley's return to VladTV, the four-time NBA champion gave his prediction for the 2020 NBA Finals matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat. Before making his pick, he was reminded that he predicted in July 2019 that the Lakers would be in the 2020 Finals. Although he had them going up against the Toronto Raptors, Kawhi Leonard did leave the Raptors to join the Clippers until after the interview was filmed.
Salley stated that although the Clippers looked good on paper, he'll never bet against a team that has LeBron James on it. He also highlighted that LeBron's ten championship appearances should place him among the greatest of all time. When it came time to make his championship prediction, Salley said that the Lakers will defeat the Miami Heat in six games.
