CML Lavish D explained why he took a six-year plea deal even though he was confident he could beat both of his cases. The rapper stated that since he threw no punches during the mall incident and no gun was found on him in his gun case, he was confident he could avoid the 15 years he was facing if convicted. However, one of his co-defendants from the mall incident was facing his third strike and had just completed a seven-year sentence. Therefore, Lavish D took the plea deal and ended up serving four years.
