Eddie Mathis on "Godfather" Label, DC Drug War, Getting 24 Years, Jail Rapes (Full Interview)

In this VladTV exclusive, Eddie Mathis -- the man once referred to as the godfather of the DC drug trade -- detailed his life story. Growing up in a 12-person household during the 1950s and 1960s, Mathis started having run-ins with the law by the age of nine. He described stabbing a bully when he was 11 and getting involved in petty crimes throughout his teens. Mathis told tales of being in youth and adult correctional facilities before explaining how he got into dealing heroin. He also described an incident where he was sentenced to 20 years to life over a murder charge that he eventually got reversed.
