After giving his reaction to Drake openly admitting he discovered DaBaby on Say Cheese, Shawn Cotton claimed YK Osiris, Quando Rondo, and Rod Wave were other artists who benefitted from his platform. He went on to explain that many artists will fail to acknowledge or shout out his platform once they've secured major deals or widespread success. Shawn Cotton addressed getting Rod Wave a deal and refusing to work with him after the label didn't want to give him his credit.
