Don Dirk also talked about his legal troubles and claimed the government was trying to strip the gang of its leadership by having members turn on each other. After getting out of prison and trying to maintain peace, Dirk acknowledged the negative impact that the crack era had on Chicago's gangs and the city as a whole.
