AJ Johnson sat down with Shawn Prez for her first-ever VladTV interview, and she started out speaking about growing up in New Jersey and being class president, homecoming queen, and president of various clubs and sports in her mostly white high school. AJ then explained that she decided to go to an HBCU to see if she could flourish in that space, and she stated that when her mother passed away her first semester, she was already tight-knit with her friends.
