He also spoke about doing college radio, seeing YouTube as a new platform, and creating his “War in Chiraq” channel as the Drill scene in Chicago was heating up. After getting recognition on YouTube and social media, more opportunities started to arise, and Akademiks was later offered a spot as a host on Complex’s “Everyday Struggle.” This led to Akademiks speaking about tensions arising on the show, including the now-infamous interaction between Joe Budden and Migos.
