Fredro Starr on Will Smith & Chris Rock, 2Pac, Eminem, Jay Z, Onyx vs Cypress Hill (Full Interview)

In this full-length interview, Fredro Starr gets things started by talking about the impact that Cypress Hill had on Onyx leading up to the release of their debut album (Bacdafucup) in 1993. The 50-year-old rap veteran reveals that Onyx was so inspired by Cypress Hill that a reference to the group was made in their biopic called 'Let the Boyz B Boyz.' This leads Fredro to discuss his group's upcoming Verzuz showdown with Cypress Hill before declaring that their opponents have never released a hit bigger than their breakthrough single "Slam."

As the interview moves along, Fredro Starr floats an interesting theory that Will Smith and Chris Rock staged the infamous 'slap heard around the world' on Oscar night. This prompts the rapper/actor to reflect back on some of his favorite moments from the Source awards back in the 90s when some of the most iconic names in hip hop, such as Tupac, A Tribe Called Quest, Fat Joe, Puffy, Naughty by Nature and Cypress Hill could all be in the same room.

Later in the discussion, Fredro explains why rappers such as himself, Benzino, and Eminem should not beef with one another anymore.
