In this clip, Josh Norman explains why his contract negotiation with the Carolina Panthers broke down after his All-Pro season back in 2015 and why the team chose to rescind the franchise tag, making him a free agent. Norman states that because of the way in which things fell apart, he ended up firing his agent because he wanted to remain in Carolina. Nevertheless, once the shock wore off, he met with the Washington Football Team and agreed to terms with the team, making him the highest-paid cornerback in NFL. As the discussion comes to end, he also shares that he bought his parents a house and set up all his brothers, financially.
