From there, he talks about sneaking into the MTV Awards and how that led to him landing a $25K job a year in retail for a major record label.
As the discussion continues, he shares the story about running marketing campaigns on behalf of Rebook for artists such as Mase and several Latin Artists. This eventually led to him landing a job with Puffy over at Bad Boy Records. Cruz breaks down what separates a great artist from everyone else and how to become a successful artist manager. Lastly, he talks about the full-circle moment when he was put in charge of the "Bad Boy Reunion Tour" and the challenges that he had to overcome in order to make it happen.
