In this clip, Shaggy spoke about living through the violent 1980 election in Jamaica, and he added that there was also a food shortage, making it an extremely difficult time in Jamaica. After explaining that the experience taught him not to trust politicians, and Shaggy went on to speak about the origin of his name. He then revealed that he hated his nickname, which he tried to ditch after moving to the U.S., but Shaggy explained that he had a change of heart after realizing that "shag" is slang for sex in England.
