In this clip, Shaggy spoke about his rise in the music industry, which he revealed started when he was in high school and got introduced to some local musicians. After getting popular in Brooklyn and dropping local hit records, Shaggy spoke about dropping his first hit single and then following up with hits like "Big Up" and "Oh Carolina." This led to him signing a record-breaking deal in the UK for $1 million, which Shaggy revealed was re-signed for another million after he dropped his #1 single "Mr. Boombastic."

Moving along, Shaggy spoke about being in the Marine Corps and being deployed to Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. He also spoke about perfecting his singing voice during his time in the military, and Shaggy detailed his involvement in the war.
