In this clip, Donnell Jones discussed the unfavorable situation he found himself in after LaFace Records shut down and he was moved to Jive Records. While on Jive, Donnell talked about the label being unaware of what to do with him, which is why his fourth studio album is an amalgamation of different producers and songwriters instead of just himself like it was over at LaFace. He called it simply a “f***** up” situation. Later in the clip, Donnell recounts working with The Clipse before they became megastars and weighs in on the current state of former label mate R. Kelly’s life.
