In this clip, Roger Reaves spoke about escaping from prison five times, and he said that he was successful because he ran and never thought about looking back. Roger explained that he was extradited to Germany once and sentenced to 8 years for using a German citizen in a crime when the captain a ship cooperated with authorities. Vlad then pointed out that Roger spent a combined 33 years in prison, in 26 different prisons, in 7 countries, and 4 continents. When Pablo Escobar’s 1993 death was brought up, Roger said he believes that the famed cartel head shot himself, and Roger revealed that he “didn’t care” after hearing the news. From there, Roger reacted to his former smuggling partner Howard Marks writing a book called “Mr. Nice,” where he speaks about Roger. Roger also spoke about being released from prison in 1999 and going back into smuggling, which led to him being arrested in 2001. He explained that he needed a lot of money, which led him back into the game, and Roger detailed spending 18 years in Australia and being released in 2020. Roger then spoke about being released from prison and being heartbroken after realizing how much time had passed away and being away from his family. When asked if he had any anger toward anyone after coming home, Roger stated that he had a “sick feeling” thinking back about his friends that snitched on him.
