In this clip, Nick Young briefly touches on being related to Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem, before talking about living in gang territory in South Central. From there, he talks about his mom moving him out to the valley and the awful experience of his older brother getting murdered by a member of the Bloods, during his childhood. The murderer was only 15 years old at the time, so he got out of jail 10 years later and when he did, he attempted to make things right with Nick and his family, but they refused. Moving along, Nick talks about essentially losing his second oldest brother to a nervous breakdown and a mental institution. Because of all the trauma, Nick decided to ditch school, unbeknownst to his parents, and play basketball at the park, where he honed his skills, until they eventually found out.
