In this clip, Smooth B discussed how difficult it is to keep a group together in light of the news that Migos has allegedly split ways. He also recounted being Big Daddy Kane’s special guest during his Verzuz battle against KRS-One and where he ranks that Verzuz among the other epic battles.
Later in the, Smooth B reacted to J. Prince saying that 2Pac would be alive had he signed to Rap-A-Lot instead of Death Row Records. Smooth B couldn’t really argue against it because no rappers have died on J. Prince’s watch unlike Suge. He also recounted Pac being the first person to call him “OG” and how Pac said he wouldn’t be alive long enough to have children.
Towards the end of the clip, Smooth B talked about some of his more recent success after securing a plaque for his latest output with the Outlawz. He also discussed the album he’s set to drop in November that is personal in nature. Smooth B likened the new album to an audio biopic and recited some of the introspective lyrics that will appear on the project.
