Michael Rapaport Lists His Top 5 MCs, Excluding Biggie, 2Pac, Jay Z and Nas (Flashback)

In this flashback, Michael Rapaport was asked about who he would put on his top 5 MCs list, and he explained that he only wants to include artists that are still alive. Rapaport explained that artists like Biggie and 2Pac, who have been largely revered as two of the greats, have such a small body of work. He then added, “Why don’t we exclude Biggie, 2Pac, Jay-Z, and Nas,” as Michael explained that excluding the latter two would make things more interesting. He then went on to assemble his list, which include some of the pioneers of the 1980s and 90s. When Vlad pointed out that there is no artists on his list that are under 40, and he responded to Vlad saying that he’d put J. Cole on his top five.
