In this clip, Shirley Ju started off asking DDG about dropping “Moonwalking in Calabasas,” and he revealed that he made the song in 20 minutes. He explained that there are some beats that “just work” and result in a hit song. DDG then revealed that he dropped the song independently because he felt that the label wasn’t responsive after he dropped his “Valedictorian” album. DDG explained that he didn’t think that the album was great, and he pointed out that sales weren’t anything crazy. From there, DDG spoke about Blueface getting on the remix, and he went on to speak about meeting Blueface and Polo G for the first time while playing basketball together. When asked about Blueface and Chrisean Rock’s controversial relationship, DDG explained that he doesn’t feel the need to comment. He then spoke about the difficulties of having a public relationship, and he pointed out that the internet affects real lives.
