Jason said that he actually stepped down from his role at Donda weeks prior to the WLM shirt but said he anticipated something like that coming down the pike. Jason explained that Kanye wanted to be a leader like Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, but he said there was a disconnect with the powerful minds around Kanye not wanting to listen to him. Jason also revealed that Kanye stopped calling for his advice after he found out Jason wasn't a "yes man," and he added that Kanye would only call for help in a crisis moment.
