In this clip, Symba reacted to the passing of Takeoff, and he revealed that he was his favorite member of Migos, adding that he was the heart of the group. Symba explained that Takeoff was “solely about the music,” and he went on to address people taking videos of Takeoff while he was lying on the ground. Vlad then spoke to Symba about doing Migos’ first-ever interview, and he revealed that they were putting together their mixtapes in the room. Vlad then asked which hip-hop group with 3 members has made as big of an impact of Migos today, and Symba pointed out that Migos started a new trend with their flow.

Moving along, Vlad brought up the concept of “checking in,” and they also addressed rumors that were floating around about the Takeoff incident shortly after news broke. Symba then addressed people saying that being a rapper is a dangerous job, and he explained that he doesn’t see it that way. Symba went on to speak about rappers glorifying not having security and being in the hood, and he explained that there’s an overall lack of empathy in the community. Moving along, Symba talked about the lasting impact that killing rappers have beyond just harming the individual. Symba pointed out how when you kill a rapper, you’re killing a business and making it tough on other people and their families who rely on these people for jobs and support. Symba said that there is an apparent lack of empathy in the streets, but it’s, unfortunately, to be expected considering the conditions people come from.
