In this clip, Yung Joc and Shawn Prez briefly debated about the sources of power and influence black people enjoy such as being trend setters. However, Joc pushed back on this idea stating that it doesn’t matter because black people still don’t own the means of production. He then laid out just how that resource of "trend setting" just becomes another means these larger companies use to make money off black people while not providing them any longterm equity.
