Then, Shawn Prez brings up an interesting point, that Marvin Sapp has never had a scandal like so many other famous pastors. To that, Marvin talks about his faith and the temptations that he has to overcome just like everyone else, before touching on his responsibilities as pastor. He also states that he doesn't want to to make a costly mistake that would affect his finances or his career. Later in the discussion, Marvin shares his thoughts on the controversy surrounding the late Bishop Eddie Long. He goes on to explain why he chose to pray for Bishop Eddie Long, amid the sexual abuse allegation, and the victims. Lastly, he shares his thoughts on Lil Nas X, and whether or not he believes that homosexuality, should be accepted by the church.
