Loca D explains that her stepfather shot a member of his own gang in the buttocks in defense of his daughter, and for that, the Lord of Latin Kings kicked him out of their organization. From there, she discusses becoming the first female juvenile to get life in prison with no possibility of parole in 1993. She explains why there was a re-trial in 1996, why she rejected the offer of 25 years in prison, and the regret she has for not accepting the deal that would have brought her home sooner.
