Pat Porter on Her 12-Year-Old Brother Kidnapped for $500K Ransom, Finger Cut Off (Part 12)

In this clip, Pat Porter spoke about her 12-year-old brother, Donnell, disappearing while walking to school, and Pat revealed that her mother called her that evening when Donnell didn’t come back from school. Pat explained that their mother thought that Donnell might’ve been in her area, and she was just trying to track him down without worry. However, someone called their mother and told them that they had kidnapped Donnell and wanted a $500,000 ransom. Pat explained that their brother Rich was already at their mother’s house, and she added that other family members started gathering over the next day. About 24-hours into the situation, Pat’s family was told to go to a nearby McDonald’s and look under the sink, where they found Donnell’s finger with two rings. Pat explained that she immediately went to the police, despite the kidnappers telling them not to contact the authorities. Pat added that there was a cassette tape that featured Donnell crying out to his family members for help, and Pat added that her uncle, Johnny, was pleading with her not to go to the police. Pat revealed that when she went to the police station, officers didn’t take the threats seriously until she showed them the finger.
