This prompts a discussion about her legacy and place in rap as a pioneer who helped open the door for legends in the game such as music executive Andre Harrell. Moving along, Angie looked back on the events that led to her and D'Angelo falling in love with one another back in the 90s. She then details how the relationship between the fellow soul singers deteriorated once D'Angelo became a sex symbol, despite the fact that she co-write some of his best music.
