In this clip, Dr. Michael Baden described winning a wrong termination lawsuit against the city of New York in the ‘70s in association with the Arthur Miller case, who was a black man and business owner who was killed by police. Dr. Baden broke down why city officials, including Mayor Koch, didn’t see him as a “team player” because he wouldn’t go along with the theory behind the cause of death that would cover police culpability.
Later in the clip, Dr. Baden talked about performing the second autopsy on George Floyd. He explained that the first autopsy ruled that Floyd's drug usage and heart disease played a role in his death and broke down why multiple parties disagreed with the conclusion that the officers caused Floyd's passing. He also talked about the value of multiple autopsies before explaining what happens to the human body when a suspect is subdued by a cop.
