Big Gipp detailed how Goodie Mob formed, saying the crew was initially comprised of solo artists looking for deals.
Initially, Khujo and T-Mo were originally Goodie Mob, then known as Goodie Mob Lumberjacks. Gipp noted he was in a group, and Cee Lo was a solo artist. Gipp said he went to see Khujo one time, and he was rapping against a young kid who happened to be Cee Lo. Gipp said Cee Lo’s rap and singing style made him want to bring the rapper to the Dungeon Family.
