L.V. sat down with VladTV correspondent and regular guest B.G. Knocc Out for his first-ever VladTV interview, and L.V. started off speaking about growing up in South Central, Los Angeles. From there, L.V. spoke about singing as a young child and being inspired by his father, who sung in the church’s choir. L.V. then spoke about getting more serious about music while singing at actress Marla Gibbs’ supper club, Marla Gibbs’ Memory Lane. This led to L.V. speaking about winning a local talent show by singing L.T.D.’s “Concentrate on You.” Moving along, B.G. Knocc Out asked L.V. about a situation in 1984, where he was left in a wheelchair after being shot 9 times. L.V. revealed that doctors wanted to amputate his leg at the waist, and he added that he wondered if he would ever walk again.
