12:27Now PlayingIn light of DJ Clark Kent blaming the deadly beef between 2Pac and Biggie on 2Pac’s lie, we take a look back at DJ Clark Kent’s 2016 VladTV interview. During the sit-down, Clark detailed how he linked up Jay-Z and Dame Dash, who went on to start Roc-A-Fella with Biggs. From there, Clark spoke about knowing Biggie before he blew up, and he went on to detail how he built a studio in his house so that Jay-Z could record “Reasonable Doubt.” Clark explained that it was clear that Jay was going to take off, and he went on to speak about how he refused to give Biggie “Brooklyn’s Finest” because it was for Jay-Z. Clark then shared how he introduced Biggie and Jay-Z to record the track, and he revealed that they both had a ton of respect for one another. From there, DJ Clark Kent revealed that Biggie stopped writing down his rhymes after seeing Jay go in the booth and do the same. You can hear more above.
