In this clip, Saigon asked Andrew ‘Nickel’ Robinson about how he’s adapted to being out of prison after 22 years and whether it’s safe to walk around with him in public due to his extension track record in prison. Saigon and Nickel talked about being “moral criminals” and how they came home promoting positivity as opposed to roping young kids into a criminal lifestyle. The pair also discussed the way RICO is being used against gangs today, similar to how the act was used against the Mob.
Later, Saigon broke down to Andrew ‘Nickel’ Robinson why he didn’t promote violence or criminality in his music and how he’s disgusted by the levels of it in the music today. Saigon took particular issue with the hypersexualization that’s present in the music. He and Nickel spoke about the influence gangster films had on them and why Nickel has such an uncompromising hatred for snitches.
