He acknowledged that there was some controversy surrounding Hughes directing the series due to past beef with Tupac, but believed that as an artist, Hughes would prioritize the quality of his work. Spice 1 also mentioned that he was not offended by not being approached to be part of the documentary, emphasizing that Tupac was his own man and had his own entity.
