Further fueling the rift, Boosie claimed that Kodak Black, who has served time in prison, was in protective custody (PC) implying that the latter chooses to be in PC to avoid confrontations. The discussion shifted to the forthcoming release of rapper BG, who was incarcerated with Kodak Black. Boosie also defended his own integrity, saying he felt compelled to address Kodak Black's insult. He assured, however, that there was no ongoing beef with Kodak Black, and he merely needed to correct the misunderstanding.
