DJ Envy recounts a harrowing experience where he was almost shot. He shared an incident that happened in his younger years, around 22 or 23, when he was walking out of a club late at night. Two men approached him, demanding his chain. After a high-speed chase through Manhattan that ended with the culprits crashing their car, Envy and his friend were able to detain the man who pulled a gun on him until the police arrived. However, because they did not immediately press charges, the man woke up from a coma, claiming Envy had robbed him. After watching surveillance footage of the entire event, Envy decided to press charges, and the man was imprisoned for a few years.
