After hitting a lull around 2004, he moved to LA in search of new opportunities, but faced challenges performing in various comedy clubs. Blackson's fortunes turned around with the advent of social media, where he began building an audience again. He also participated in a reality sitcom called "Live with Funny." Blackson expressed gratitude for his current position and shared his current schedule, including comedy shows across the country and philanthropic efforts in Africa.
