In an interview with Vlad, Charli Baltimore recounted a past car accident involving Lil Cease and Biggie. They described that during the production of Biggie's second album, "Life After Death", they were involved in a serious incident when a rental van they were traveling in crashed into a rail. Lil Cease, who was driving, described the brakes failing and their panicked encounter. Charli Baltimore added that she had been thrown through the windshield, while Biggie was stuck inside the vehicle. Following the accident, Biggie had to undergo intense rehabilitation to learn how to walk again due to a broken femur. During this period, he completed the second half of his album. Charli Baltimore's stage name was also born at this time; after watching the film "Long Kiss Goodnight" together, they decided that the shared experience of surviving a car accident was significant, leading to Baltimore adopting the name from the film's heroine.
