Grant Cardone reflected on how COVID-19 impacted the real estate market in contrast to his initial prediction that the pandemic would ruin the housing market. Instead, the market boomed with individuals buying homes amid the alarm caused by the global crisis. Despite the mortgage system mainly benefiting the banks, as he explained, Vlad shared his unique strategy of purchasing his current home outright instead of securing a traditional bank mortgage. Using a shareholder loan and an LMA Loan against his stock portfolio, Vlad managed to fully own his home without the burden of monthly mortgage payments. Cardone praised his approach before sharing his belief that rental properties would continue to offer a lucrative venture due to their appeal and cheaper cost compared to mortgages.
