--------
Joaquin "Jack" Garcia discussed one of his notable undercover operations and relived an instance when a target suspiciously avoided conviction. During the operation, Garcia detailed an encounter with a woman from whom he potentiality purchased drugs. When she later refused to do further deals with him, Garcia described how this translated in court as her retiring from the life of crime, which surprisingly led to her acquittal, even though there was video evidence proving her involvement. On the topic of prosecution, Garcia mentioned that the FBI generally prefers plea deals to trials due to the simpler procedural work and preferable sentence length for the offender. He shared how different crime families respond to trials, noting that the Gambino family often goes to trial, while the Genovese family usually opts for a plea when caught.
