Legendary comedian and actor Cheech Marin (of 'Cheech and Chong' fame) shared insights into his life, before and during his Hollywood career. Born to Mexican parents in Los Angeles, Cheech grew up in a funny and witty family, which helped cultivate his comedic skills from an early age. Despite growing up in a Mexican family, Cheech did not speak fluent Spanish. Talking about his journey into comedy, he said his family was quick-witted, smart and very funny, providing plenty of inspiration. Childhood experiences and family dynamics played a significant role in shaping his career. The talented comedian also touched on his life in the 50s and 60s, growing up in different parts of LA, the varied experiences teaching him many life lessons.
