In this clip, Nicholas Irving discussed his perspective on gun control. He acknowledged that it's virtually impossible to eliminate all guns, given the number of guns in the US exceeds the population. Speaking hypothetically about gun eradication in the US, he predicted a surge in violent acts as seen in the UK with stabbings. Irving emphasized that people would find other methods to execute violent acts if they couldn't access guns. He also argued for civilians' right to own firearms, stating that if the police and government can possess militarized weapons, so should the general public. To him, it's about having a fair playing field and being able to protect his family. Although he doesn't wish to use a gun, he believes owning one is crucial for self-defense in an unpredictable world where home invasions occur.
