Entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David, known for his Valuetainment YouTube channel, discussed an intense period of his life when he was facing seemingly insurmountable challenges. In 2012, as his company balanced on the edge of bankruptcy, Bet-David suffered a personal blow when a representative from AIG, threatened to rescind his contract due to his Armenian heritage and related concerns about insurance fraud. Speaking about these struggles, Bet-David said he was forced to make a stand against the discrimination, resulting in a year’s reprieve to turn his business around. Interestingly, he said this literal "change of fortune" was due to content creation, marking the beginning of his successful Valuetainment YouTube channel. Despite initial doubts about the content, Bet-David made a two-year commitment to weekly video uploads, attracting 2000 subscribers during this period.
