Sammy 'The Bull' Gravano discussed his son Gerard's involvement in drug trafficking. Gerard, incurring a debt of $50,000, decided to sell drugs to erase it. He initially planned to deal in New York, but Sammy's concern about the potential danger to their family led Gerard to operate in Arizona instead, borrowing money from his father. Despite Sammy's disapproval and warnings, Gerard continued dealing, amassing significant earnings. Sammy proposed a plan: he would fund Gerard's purchase of a large quantity of ecstasy pills. Gerard would then sell, repay the borrowed funds plus interest, and quit the drug trade to focus on legitimate work in Sammy's businesses. Despite a potential profit of millions, Sammy turned down a major drug deal, fearing he’d be tempted to commit crimes again until he wound back up in jail. However, unbeknownst to Sammy, an investigation into Gerard's drug dealing activities was already underway.
