In a recent interview, Vlad revealed to Aries Spears that Vanilla Ice has built a prosperous career in real estate. Despite still touring off his hit song "Ice, Ice Baby," Vanilla Ice has created a significant real estate empire and publishing company. Vanilla Ice was reportedly astute enough to buy the publishing rights for the original song that "Ice, Ice Baby" sampled, David Bowie and Queen’s "Under Pressure." As such, he receives royalties whenever either song is used. He then expanded his publishing empire by buying other music rights. As well as his successful music career, Vanilla Ice now owns hundreds of properties in Miami.
