This controversial statement came after the bodyguard disappeared during trial and reappeared on the last day to testify, leading to a halt in proceedings. The claim seems to have been an attempt to gain an appeal, but as Boosie highlighted, an 80% failure rate for appeals makes this unlikely. They concluded that the legal system can be complex, with the success of an appeal dependent on the views of three Superior Court judges.
