YFN Lucci's lawyer, Drew Findling, recently discussed the high-profile RICO case involving the rapper over a fatal shooting. The incident happened on December 9, 2020, when Lucci was driving with three other individuals in his newly gifted Maybach SUV. A shootout broke out while they were driving, resulting in one person in Lucci's car being shot and killed. Lucci was later charged with felony murder. As Findling explained, the felony murder doctrine means if you commit a felony and someone dies as a result, it is considered murder. Lucci maintained his innocence and refused a plea deal that included 17 years in prison. Despite the significant charges, Findling maintains that Lucci held onto the steering wheel during the incident and did not participate in the violence that ensued. The murder case eventually became a part of a wider RICO investigation involving 11 other individuals.
