Smush Parker, former NBA player, opens up about the incident with a parking attendant that led to his unceremonious exit from the Miami Heat. Parker recounts that he had an arrangement with an earlier attendant to leave his car parked out front for a fee, but a different parking attendant the following day unknowingly demanded additional payment; which eventually spiraled into a confrontation. The woman later alleged that Parker had choked and dragged her. Despite the existence of cameras in the parking lot, which Parker believed could exonerate him, all the footage mysteriously “disappeared.” The unsubstantiated allegation led to the Miami Heat ending its contract with Parker. He sees the experience as part of a divine plan, and he hopes his story will serve as a cautionary tale to others.
