This escalated when Tekashi had a beef with Chief Keef, offering $20,000 to someone to shoot at him which resulted in legal repercussions. Further incidents followed, including Tekashi's baffling kidnap and assault in July 2018, for which member Harv was later charged. However, Fubanger insists that Tekashi only denounced the 9 Trey Bloods in a 2018 Breakfast Club interview after the arrival of the feds, suggesting that, if unbothered, Tekashi would have maintained his association with them.
