Terrance "Gangsta" Williams has spoken out against the portrayal of the Bloods gang by rappers Birdman and Lil Wayne. Williams disagreed with how Birdman and Lil Wayne claimed affiliation with the gang, stating that crimes committed by gangs were not part of their upbringing in New Orleans. He suggested these claims were an example of rappers trying to live out the narratives within their songs. Williams questioned why successful artists later in life would affiliate themselves with gangs, suggesting it could ultimately be detrimental. He expressed disappointment with Birdman particularly, given his own experience of refusing to testify against fellow inmates while in prison. Williams implied that it was hypocritical for Birdman to project a gangster image when he himself refused to participate in gang violence. The clip ended with Williams asserting his independence, saying he is building his own empire and doesn't care about potential pushback on his comments.
