DDG opened up about his journey from YouTube to Hollywood. DDG revealed that it took him two and a half years on YouTube to earn a paycheck big enough to move to Hollywood. He moved to Vine Street, sharing anecdotes from his time living in a troubled place where a steady increase in homelessness and crime had residents living in fear. He had to leave after surrendering his leased apartment's deposit and has, since then, found peace in moving to Calabasas. DDG fondly calls his hit song 'Moonwalking in Calabasas' a tribute to the city, claiming it to be his most successful, with over 500 million views. He also discussed a remarkable episode when he was arrested on a weapons charge while on his way to a video shoot, although the charges were reduced to reckless driving.
