The crime took place in 1993 - prior to G. Dep breaking out as a rapper - during an attempted robbery. Despite the case going cold for nearly 18 years, G. Dep admitted that he "didn't feel free and clear" and was haunted by the night in question. After spending 13 years in prison, the "Special Delivery" was set free today.
