Yung Joc responded to questions about Cardi B's financial success and her claims of having made nearly $80 million, stating that achieving such financial heights is indeed possible. He explained that an artist's income is not only tied to music sales, but to their overall influence in the industry, including endorsement deals, commercials, and features. Yung Joc pointed out that once an artist has released major hit songs, their profitability dramatically increases due to publishing rights, audience demand for performances, and the hype that generates large budgets from labels. He also noted that this model isn't exclusive to Cardi B; he himself has been able to amass considerable revenue over his 17-year career through various streams encompassing publishing, TV, radio, and features with other artists.
